The music is the “Legrous” theme from the classic Sega Genesis game “Zero Wing.” (Yes, the “All Your Base Are Belong To Us” game.) It was made by now-defunct company Toaplan.

The speech clips are from Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode 820, Space Mutiny. You’ll probably enjoy this about 1000% more if you’ve seen that episode. If you haven’t, you’ll most likely end up totally confused, so here’s the short version: the hero is a big goofy musclebound guy who looks like a high school football coach and screams like a 12-year-old girl. His name is Dave Ryder, but whenever he appears on screen the MST3k characters would make up a new “tough guy” nickname for him. And so it goes…

One night my good pals RBCP and Murd0c of phonelosers.org found themselves, for some mysterious reason, receiving calls meant for a movie theater’s “now playing” recording. Hilarity ensued, as happens in these situations.

I especially liked one call where they convinced some lady she was about to take her children to an, erm, “adult” movie theater. So, I got hold of some random twangy porno track that was floating around, and synchronized the call to it.

If anyone recognizes the track, please let me know what it is.
